Here are some of the things going on this week!

Saturday April 5, 2008
The 15th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run/Walk starts Saturday at 8AM at Turtle Kraals Restaurant at the Lands End Marina on 231 Margaret Street.

The proceeds benefit Key West High School Running teams, and there is a post race party. Late Registration occurs on Friday April 4, 5-7 PM and on the day of the race, April 5, at 7 AM. Visit http://www.keywestspecialevents.com for more information.

presents several of your favorite plays this month…..
  • February 5 – March 8: Shel Shocked: Red Barn Theatre is proud to bring back more of Shel Silversteins short plays!
  • March 18– April 12: Sylvia~ Back by Popular Demand!Starring Marjorie Paul Shook as Sylvia.
  • April 22 – May 3: Mavis and the Three Bears: Written by Blake Hunter with the music written by our own Franko Richmond. This will run for two weeks only.
  • May 13 – May 24: Rompers, a collection of shorts : Celebrating short attention span theatre, The Red Barn is proud to present a collection of short plays with an exciting mixture of playwrights, directors and actors.
  • March 23,24,30,31 – April 6, 7: (during Sylvia and Mavis and the Three Bears) Vagina Monologues ~ Back by Popular Demand

Through April 19th, Sculpture Key West occurs. Sculpture Key West has been nationally recognized since 1995. This year, the event will be held at the West Mortello Towers, in addition to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, the traditional location.
